PMO Area Overview

This article serves as an introduction to the PMO/Portfolio Management area of ResourceFirst.

Overview

The PMO / Portfolio Management Area provides pages with views, reports, and features useful for portfolio planning.

The pages in the PMO Area include:

KPIs/Scorecard – a high level view of all projects with their KPI GYR states.

Demand (What-If Priority) – a portfolio view: for a project with shortfall, see the impact on the project and on the portfolio of every possible increase in priority.

Ranking – a view of scoring criteria for all projects in the portfolio.

Score Analysis – adjust the ranking score of projects by modifying the weight for ranking criteria

Roadmap – a Gantt roadmap/timeline of the project portfolio, with the option to view project phases, milestones, and more.

Swimlanes – a view of project start-finish bars colored per project GYR status; the bars can be grouped by the value of any Project Data field.

Project Rollup – a hierarchical project rollup report by any combination of project attributes (fields) or by Program-(Sub)Project hierarchy.

Resource Rollup – a hierarchical resource rollup report by any combination of resource attributes.

Assignment Rollup – a hierarchical labor assignment rollup report by any combination of labor assignment attributes (labor assignment, project, and resource fields).
