How to Find ResourceFirst Log Files
Log files of detailed user and system activity can be captured automatically if logging is activated. Contact PDWare Support to activate logging if it is not already activated.
The customer specifies the data to be logged, e.g. labor and financial period forecast data, or all assignment data changes.
To view existing logs, click Administration->Log Files:
Today’s log file is shown as ResourceFirst.log at the bottom, along with two weeks of prior log files:
Viewing and Exporting a Log File
Click the desired log file. The contents of the log file are shown:
You may scroll to find the desired content or more likely, export to a CSV file using the icon in upper right. Open the CSV file, presented in lower left of the window, to save and search in that context.
