Project Distribution

Overview

An allocation percent can be defined across a variety of fields (e.g., domain, category, sponsor, etc.) for reporting purposes. This distribution can also have a start and end date.

The distribution percentages are stored in the ResourceFirst database, but are not used in any standard views or reports. Custom QlikView reports can be configured or developed to make use of these distribution percentages. For more on this, see your ResourceFirst administrator.

How To

Step 1: Drill-down to the Distribution page for a project.

Step 2: Select a field for distribution.

Step 3: Click the “+” sign to add a distribution row.

Step 4: Click the dropdown on the newly added row to select a value to assign a percent distribution to.

[EXAMPLE: In the screenshot below, the “” field list was chosen in the upper left, so on the distribution row, you can select from the list of XXXX .

Step 5: Repeat steps 3 and 4 until done.

Step 5: Click the Save icon in the upper right to save your changes.
