Using Scenarios on Waterline Pages

Overview
You can examine different cases involving scenarios on the Waterline pages if you have any scenarios loaded and showing. Click the Scenarios icon to launch the Scenarios dialog.

Scenarios AOP 2025 and AOP 2H 2025 are both loaded and showing in addition to the current forecast.
Waterline Scenario Options
The “Showing” menu on the Labor and Financial Waterline pages behave similarly. It is useful only when scenarios are being evaluated. See the Labor and Financial Waterline Pages article for a full explanation of the features that are not related to scenarios.
The “Showing” menu drop-down control is near the right of the Waterline page menu bar.

Selection of an option defines the data included in the grid and the chart on the Waterline page.
All – Demand on the grid and in the chart is the total of all current forecast and scenario project demand.
Forecast Only – Include all current forecast demand, ignore/hide all scenario demand.
Scenario Only – Include all scenario demand, ignore/hide all current forecast demand.
Variance – Difference between scenario project demand and the corresponding source project demand.
Combined – Copy demand from scenario projects to their source projects (on the Waterline page only): hide all scenario projects. This is equivalent to posting all scenarios to their source projects. Scenario projects do not appear (i.e. they are not double counted).
