More than two decades of capacity-first portfolio planning.
PDWare has been building portfolio and resource planning software for more than two decades — and never stopped shipping. Based in New York City, with customers across the U.S. and worldwide.
The PDWare story
PDWare built its workforce-planning platform around resource management from the start — because capacity, not ambition, decides what a portfolio delivers.
Since then we've evolved into a powerful cloud platform for organizations large and small: easy to implement, easy to use, and flexible enough to adapt to how your organization actually plans.
On September 1, 2026, PDWare launched PDWare MCP, which gives approved AI systems governed access to portfolio data through existing permissions, use rights, and business rules.
Weeks, not quarters. Most organizations complete a level-1 implementation in 4 to 6 weeks, starting from project demand, resource capacity, and strategic priorities — no detailed task plans required. Maturity typically follows in about 3 months, and functions not in use can stay disabled until the organization grows into them.
Humans answer. Fast.
Clients get a staffed support desk with software experts — issues become tickets automatically, and a person takes each one to resolution.
“The support team has been extremely helpful, and I've received prompt responses to all of my queries. This week, they even assisted me in creating a script to automate a process.”
