Start the PDW Portfolio application. Login as usual. Click
CANCEL on the GET DATA dialog.
Select menu command FILE>OPEN and double-click file "Training
Demo.pdw" (or select it and click the OPEN button).
Notice, again, that the Check Database Locks button shows an "?" (instead of
the usual checkmark) to indicate unknown locks status.
Notice also that the "D" (delta) column
for the first project is marked "C" indicating a changed record.
Only records marked "C" or "N" will be saved to the database.
Select menu command DATA>SAVE DATA.
Select menu command DATA>GET DATA.
Examine the start date for the first project after the PDW Data
book is active.
