Simulated Off-Line Operation

Click the CHECK DATABASE LOCKS toolbar button to be sure you have projects
checked out.
If they are not checked out, select menu command DATA>GET DATA,
check the project checkout checkbox, and click the GET DATA
button.
Select menu command FILE>SAVE AS.
Select directory \Program Files\PDware\ or your PDW database
directory location, enter "Training Demo" as the file name, and
click the SAVE button.
With the PDW Data book active, select menu command
FILE>EXIT.
In the PDW Portfolio Close dialog, UNCHECK the DROP LOCKS checkbox
and click the NO button, i.e. DO NOT save data but DO keep it
checked out. This allows to user to modify off line
